Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
In 2007, the Lakeview Village Homeowners Association Board of Directors created the LVHOA ARC to review architectural changes to homes in the association such as paint colors, fencing, additions, etc. This committee has been a great success and requests are processed with the homeowner’s project schedules in mind.
The committee is made up of homeowners from our community to assist all homeowners in remaining in compliance with the Deed Restrictions and Covenants for the HOA when considering changes to their property design. This committee acts on home owner requests submitted through the LVHOA Board of Directors (BOD) and submits recommendations to the BOD for approval. These actions help to keep our community the wonderful place it is to live and assists in maintaining the value of our investment.
All submittal documents necessary for ARC requests can be found by left clicking here: ARC Request Form. Submissions of requests are only made through the LVHOA Board mailing address. The ARC will meet one week prior to the next scheduled BOD Meeting. The ARC will provide the BOD with approval, or denial, advice at that meeting and the BOD will make the actual decision on ARC Requests. The Declaration of Covenants 4397-1491, Article IV, Architectural is the authority which allows the BOD 30 days to approve, or disapprove requests.
Remember, all requests must be approved prior to the work being done (unless the 30 day window has expired). This helps speed the process for approving design changes to your property and helps achieve a more cohesive appearance to our communities. The BOD looks forward to helping you through your home improvements.
Architectural Review Request Form: It is required that the form be mailed to the address on the form because accurate color coordination cannot be achieved via the Internet. Please provide as much information as possible to preclude any delays in the process.
